Meet Victoria Criniti
Bachelor of Psychology (Honours),
Master of Professional Psychology
Victoria is a Psychologist with general registration through AHPRA and over four years of private practice experience. Her early career involved working with at-risk teenagers and supporting children in out-of-home care, sparking her focus on attachment theory and its impact throughout life.
In her practice, Victoria uses attachment theory to understand her clients’ unique experiences and combines approaches like CBT, ACT, and DBT to tailor treatment to individual needs. She values strong therapeutic relationships, empowering clients to understand their struggles and work towards their goals. Victoria focuses on working with school students (from Year 6+) and adults, providing a non-judgmental, inclusive space for clients from diverse backgrounds to feel safe and authentic.

Our Mission

Connectivity
At Mind Sanctuary, we strive to offer a space for individuals to feel a sense of connection and meaningfulness. We believe that the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone to successful outcomes.

Empowerment
Through the process of therapy, we strive to instil a sense of empowerment in our clients. We want our clients to feel back in the driver’s seat of their lives and give them the tools to navigate forward, freely.

Growth
We want to foster growth in our clients. The idea is that change, though scary and uncomfortable at times, is necessary to get to a desired outcome. We want to support you through this growth and change.
Support for Adults
As humans, we all face challenging times throughout our lives. At times, these challenges can impact our emotions, relationships and sense of self in a way that we may find difficult to navigate. At Mind Sanctuary, we aim to offer support to those in need during difficult times and provide a space to explore the impact of life’s challenges together. We believe it is important for all people to have a space that is just for them. A place to turn to when seeking support and reprieve. Mind Sanctuary is your space, your sanctuary.
Support for Students
School can be quite a challenging and confusing time for young people. Navigating the complexities of academic stress as well as developmental and social transitions can be a difficult task. Having psychological support may assist young people during this time in their life by helping them to understand challenges, build resilience and learn how to flexibly adapt and cope with difficulties they may face. Victoria works well with young people, offering support from Year 6 through to university.
